Tip Tuesday by guest blogger and skincare wonder woman, Diana Waite, from Uprooted Handcrafted Skin Care!
“I have found that that the most difficult part of starting my hand crafted business is being a beginner. I’ve been developing my brand and product for about a year so I still consider myself a beginner. But everyone has to be a beginner at some point, right?
There are artisans of all kinds that are incredibly talented and brilliant, which can be very intimidating when you are just starting out. Not to mention, very competitive. But something remarkable happens when you have the drive, desire and passion to continue doing what you love, and continue doing it with your heart. People feel it, and it is inspiring. It is inspiring to them, which creates more motivation for you.
There is always going to be improvements, hard work, trial and error moments, and even failures. But that’s what makes your work authentic.
My tip is to anyone who is on the fence about your creative work…keep going!
It will be worth it.”
