I absolutely love getting packages in the mail! Especially handmade items. Tearing them open to get to that highly anticipated object just makes my day. Since I buy handmade goods often, I have noticed a few things that take that awesome feeling of receiving a package and make it an even more elevated experience. I recently purchased a custom made hand lettered stamp for a friend from Magnolia Letter Arts and will be using their shop as an example because they are doing an awesome job!
Packaging
The stamp arrived in the cutest little pouch with a drawstring. Not only is the packaging a nice touch it is also practical. My friend can use the pouch for storing the stamp when she isn’t using it! What a simple and inexpensive way to add a little something to your packaging presentation.
Thank You
Alex, the shop owner, included a simple + personalized thank you in the package! I love the little gold and white banner at the top. This little personal touch really made me feel special and appreciated as a customer.
More Goodies
Behind the thank you was a little velum envelope full of fun paper goods. Alex included some business cards, as everyone should do. Now I can quickly reference Magnolia Letter Arts as needed need and I can also pass on a card to my friend. Secondly, she added an adorable card with the shop’s social media information and an invitation to share the things I create with her stamp. How creative! I’m saving the best for last: A coupon for 15% off of my next purchase. I can’t wait to use it!
