I was so happy when I stumbled upon Golden Paisley one lazy weekend afternoon! Her work is amazing + I just had to commission her to do a piece for my daughter’s room. I’m filling an entire wall with art. I can’t wait to show it off once it is complete!

Owner + maker, Caite, is so lovely. We instantly connected via email. Our stories are very similar, staring off as teachers and moving towards a more creative + free line of work. However, talent is where we diverge. Catie, has more talent in her pinky finger than I do in my entire body!

Good photography is key to successfully selling and marketing your goods and crafts. Many search engines have the capability to  ignore urls through a “do not show products without pictures” option. Don’t count yourself out of people’s searches right off the bat!

A photo is the first (and maybe most important) way to attract buyers and to convince consumers that your products are well made, beautiful and stylish. Especially when selling digitally, consumers have no other choice but to trust the pictures they see.

Top 3 Ways to Tie a Scarf

Scarves make the perfect accessories! We love how quick (really quick in this video!) + simple they are. Check out our top three ways to tie a scarf. A special thanks to our model and musician, Tayler Bledsoe and to our resident scarf maker, Kinghbury!

STEP 1.

Open scarf.

Step 2.

Fold scarf in half and tie mirrored corners together.

Step 3.

Put arms through and pull over shoulders.

Step 1.

Wrap scarf around your neck, twice.

Step 2.

Tie a side knot with opposite ends of scarf.

Step 3.

Look stylish.

Step 1.

Open Scarf.

Step 2.

Tie both corner ends together.

Step 3.

Wrap scarf around neck twice.
